Wrap Around Double Layer Cork and Leather Inspirational Bracelet
Now here Chrissie C has created a unique combination of cork, leather and steel! Cork is amazingly soft and flexible for our bracelets and we are loving this non traditional fusion in this design.
We have teamed up a super cool wine coloured cork cord and blended it with a dark blue flat leather stamp etched with the mantra "Laugh Every Day, Love Beyond Words, Live Every Moment"
We love this positive uplifting inspirational quote here at the EWE project.
This is a totally unisex bracelet and looks cool on the small or large wrist as its made to measure for you. Your bracelet is finished with a stainless steel bayonet interlocking clasp. We love stainless steel here at the EWE project as it does not fade or tarnish like other metals.

Why did we use cork?
Cork is “simply the bark of the cork oak tree" but the process to harvest is quite tricky! Cork is a 100% sustainable product , and harvesting is done by specialised professionals and no damage is ever done to a tree during the harvesting process. Trees can be harvested round 17 times working on the average of 200 years for an oak tree
Cork ages without deteriorating due mainly to its resistance to moisture as the Suberin (waterproofing waxy substance) in the cell walls makes cork practically impermeable to liquids
This makes cork a very sturdy option for jewellery making thanks to its “honey comb” structure. It is highly abrasive resistant
We source our cork from Portugal and it is feels like leather, but the cord comes from the cork oak tree and not from an animal - Cork is suitable for vegans and vegetarians as it is 100% leather free
It is soft and silky to the touch and is very comfortable to wear.. Cork is natural, renewable and sustainable raw material
SIZING
To ensure you get the perfect fit for your styling...
1: Measure your wrist with a flexible tape, strip of paper or piece of string , where you would normally wear the bracelet. The tape should be firm around the wrist but not tight.
2: If you are using a strip of paper or cord, mark your size with a pen or pencil then use a ruler to measure the length. That would be your exact wrist size.
3: To find your bracelet size,

1. 15cm wrist (lady or small wrist) may choose 55cm
(if you like a tighter fit please request this and i will craft to approx 53cm)
2. 18cm wrist may choose 65cm.
(if you like a tighter fit please request this and i will craft to approx 63cm)
3. 20cm wrist may choose 68cm
(if you like a tighter fit please request this and i will craft to approx 66cm)
4. 22cm wrist may choose 74cm
(if you like a tighter fit please request this and i will craft to approx 72 cm)

We advise with all leather products to avoid bathing/showering in them and avoid wearing whilst swimming or engaging in water based activities to preserve the leather.
